The LegCo passed my amendment to a bill on 12 March 2008 through which the English Schools Foundation became the first
school subsidized with subventions in Hong
Kong to have a representative for parents
of children with special educational needs on its governing board. It is a good model for other schools in Hong Kong to learn about inclusive
education.
